Cebu Family Park

The Family Park Cebu is a man-made park located in Talamban Cebu. It is run by the Metropolitan Cebu Water District (MCWD). This is a very family-friendly park because the management doesn’t allow anyone or anything that shows obscene behaviors.

Inside the park, there is a big playground with slides, swings, and see-saws. There are also cottages that are for rent for a very affordable price. The park is packed with trees so its a guarantee that the air is fresh. At the back of the playground is the park’s mini-zoo where a variety of birds, monkeys and other animals are found. At the other side of the playground, at the upper portion of the park, is a function hall that can accommodate an approximately 60-100 guests. It is best for birthday parties, company gatherings, and other activities. A swimming pool can also be found in the park. There is a pool for children and another for adults. There are also mini-cottages along side its big pond.

This park is totally nature friendly and is perfect for family gatherings with only minimal budget. Since it is run by the government, its prices are really so affordable.

Park Entrance – P 15.00 for adults and P 10.00 for children

Cottages – P 150.00 near the playground and P 100.00 near the swimming pool.

Swimming Pool Entrance – P 35.00 for adults and P 25.00 for children

Function Hall – P 2,000.00 – P 3,500.00 (depending on the length of use)

Sound System – P 1,000.00 – P 2,000.00 (depending on the length of use)

Note: When planning to go swimming, bring a proper swimming attire as the guards are very strict. The pool opens at 6:00am until 8:00pm.
